Rover Scouts

Service.

This level of Scouting, involving men and women, ages 18-26, is the adult youth section, by definition.
It's a dedication to the cause, and a sense of adventure at this point,

We have several members who are Rovers, plus an old Skip. More are always welcome.

Meetings are held as needed, and we're primarily working with the new collective Hamilton Crew. (more details to come)

Registration cost for the year, is nothing. With a mandate for service to others, registration is provided for.

We are looking for Adult Advisors interested in helping out, in addition to parent participation.

This is the official summary from the Scouts Canada Website:

Men and women 18 to 26 years of age.

The outdoors is an essential part of the Rover program. Rovers often participate in adventurous activities like mountain climbing, or white water rafting.

Rovers also help their local communities by running service activities such as food drives, park clean-ups, and tree plantings.

Rovers meet in a group called a crew. Rovers develop and manage their own program under the mentorship of a respected advisor. Rovers adhere to a promise and motto.

The Rover Promise:
 On my honour
I promise that I will do my best
To do my duty to God and the Queen
To help other people at all times,
And to live by the Scout Law.

The Rover Motto:
 Service
